On grid solar inverter

Grid tie solar systems consist of solar panels and a grid-tie inverter, with no batteries. The solar panels feed a special high voltage input inverter (usually 140 to 600 volts DC), which converts the DC voltage coming from the solar panels directly into AC power to match the grid.
